Abstract

All praise and gratitude be to Allah SWT, for by His grace and bounties, AL-TAQRIR: Jurnal Perundangan Syariah Negeri Sembilan has been successfully published online. My deepest appreciation is extended to the Advisory Board, Editorial Board, Consultants, and all manuscript contributors who have dedicated their efforts and expertise to the preparation, review, and standardization of the articles and cases heard in the Syariah Courts of Negeri Sembilan for inclusion in this edition of AL-TAQRIR. Congratulations and my sincere thanks go to all parties who have worked with such dedication to ensure this publication was realized in the best possible manner.

The primary objective of this online journal publication is to recognize the research efforts of the Syariah Judges and Syariah Officers at the Syariah Judiciary Department of Negeri Sembilan (JKSNS). Furthermore, it aims to highlight significant developments within the field of Syariah law and the judiciary through the analysis of selected cases in Negeri Sembilan. In line with current developments, JKSNS, in collaboration with USIM, has taken the initiative to expand the journal’s reach through a hybrid publication model - combining both digital and printed versions. This approach not only adds value to the reading experience for various generations but also paves the way for a more extensive dissemination of knowledge while maintaining the significance and prestige of the printed edition.

It is my hope that AL-TAQRIR will serve as a valuable resource for legal practitioners, researchers, academics, students, and all parties interested in understanding the development of Syariah law in this country.

In closing, I record my highest appreciation and gratitude to everyone involved in the success of this publication. May Allah SWT continue to bestow His mercy, blessings, and ease upon all our endeavours. We extend our sincere thanks for your continued support and commitment.
