Abstract

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh dan salam sejahtera,

All praise and gratitude are due to Allah SWT, for by His abundant grace and permission, the publication of AL-TAQRIR: Jurnal Perundangan Syariah Negeri Sembilan, a collaborative effort between Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and the Syariah Judiciary Department of Negeri Sembilan (JKSNS), has successfully come to fruition.

AL-TAQRIR: Jurnal Perundangan Syariah Negeri Sembilan focuses on two primary components, namely the grounds of judgment delivered by Syarie Judges of the Syariah Judiciary Department of Negeri Sembilan, and scholarly articles in the field of Syariah law and judiciary. These two segments are compiled with the objective of providing an authoritative and high-quality reference source to strengthen the discourse on Syariah law, particularly in relation to judicial decisions, legal analysis, and their role and contribution to enhancing Syariah judicial practices and institutions in Negeri Sembilan.

The publication of this journal places strong emphasis on the scholarly quality and credibility of every article published. USIM’s academic expertise is synergised with that of JKSNS to ensure that each contribution is not only relevant to judicial practice but also meets the standards of high-impact publications recognised at both the national and international levels.

My heartfelt congratulations and profound appreciation are extended to all parties who have worked tirelessly to ensure the successful publication of this journal, both at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia and the Syariah Judiciary Department of Negeri Sembilan. Special gratitude is also accorded to the Faculty of Syariah and Law, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia; USIM Press; the Centre of Research for Fiqh Forensics and Judiciary (CFORSJ), USIM; the advisory and editorial boards of AL-TAQRIR; as well as all individuals and entities involved, whether directly or indirectly, in making this publication a reality.

It is my earnest hope that AL-TAQRIR will serve as a premier reference platform for judges, legal practitioners, academics, and the wider public, fostering sustained awareness and informed engagement with developments in Syariah law, particularly in Negeri Sembilan.
